John Arthur began drawing and painting as a child in his father's studio and has not stopped since. He began his career as a professional artist and illustrator more than twenty-five years ago, and his paintings have graced the covers of books, magazines and periodicals and have been seen by millions. His limited edition prints and portfolios have sold internationally and he has illustrated four children's books.  John's prestigious list of clients include: Disney, Warner Bros., Learning Tree and Carlton Greetings, Collins & Brown, and a host of others.

Although John is primarily known for his Romantic Fantasy watercolors, (ROMANTASYtm) he is a figurative artist whose talents are used in a variety of genres and mediums. His latest publications; The Art Of Faery by Paper Tiger Press and The World of Faery (by Harper Collins) features John alongside some of the world's great fantasy artists. This year Pure Inspiration's Fantasy Art Collection is released with John as one of the featured artists. He also instructs Master Art Seminars and has a passion for Blues piano and fly fishing.
