Lisa Briseno grew up in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. At age 15 she moved out to St. George, Utah to live with her father, where she excelled in art and English literature. She attended Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky for two years, her major being English with an emphasis in journalism. |
She then moved back to the San Bernardino Mountains to be closer to her mother and family, and graduated from Cal State University of San Bernardino with a BA in English with an emphasis in creative writing. Besides writing poetry and short fiction, she also enjoys painting, mostly with watercolors, drawing portraits, and creating her one-of-a-kind Frankenstonia Creature Dolls. |
