Classes and Workshops

Lake Arrowhead

Watercolor classes are now being offered. Weekly classes will start this summer and are designed for the beginner. Darlene Kraft is an accomplished watercolorist with a background in professional photography and calligraphy. Darlene has a gifted eye for exquisite composition and fine detail in her artistic endeavors. She has studied with well known artists such as Joe Garcia and Pamela Benson. Darlene is a member of the Fallbrook Art Association and Gem of the Valley Art Association and Mountain Arts Network here in Lake Arrowhead. Her paintings were recently exhibited in the Spring Group Show at Burnt Mill Beach Club in Lake Arrowhead. Darlene's watercolor studio is located in Lake Arrowhead. Crestline

Join other local artists at Lake Gregory Coffee Company for Life Drawing every other Saturday, 12 - 3pm. Bring your own sketch pad and pencils or charcoal. Model provided, donations accepted. These events are open to everyone, bring a friend. Hope to see you there!

Sky Forest

Poetry Writer's Workshop at the Mountain Arts Gallery

Beginning April 23rd, Every 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm. Hosted by the Mountain Arts Network. Come join us for in-depth discussions and peer critiques on your poetry. For beginners and experienced writers alike! We will also host a coffeehouse-style poetry reading in the fall for all of our writers and their families and friends. There is no cost, but refreshments will be pot-luck style, so please bring something small.

This group meets every other Saturday from 10am - 1am, weather permitting. Bring your own sketch pad and pencils or charcoal. Model provided, donations for the model accepted.
