THEMES: Landscapes, still life, portraits and abstract works.
MEDIUM: Oil, pastel, serigraphs, watercolors, pen and ink and etchings.     
BACKGROUND: A very versatile woman both professionally and personally, She was raised in Southern California and gained experience as a production director for Artisan House, Inc. makers of fine sculpture in Los Angeles, California. The daughter of aerospace technical illustrator Philip Gwinn known for his NASA space voyage animations, portraits of jazz musicians and syndicated comics.
EDUCATION: Clare learned under the watchful eye of her father and studied art at Glendale Community College in Glendale, California.
COLLECTIONS: Clare has been honored by the acquisition of two of her pieces by the Wildlife Way-Station Animal Refuge in Sylmar, California. A number of her pieces are in various private collections.
