Sandra Charlebois is a native southern Californian, and has maintained a long relationship with the San Bernardino Mountains. As a child, she spent many idyllic weekends at her grandparent's house in Crestline. She holds many wonderful memories of life in the mountains. Sandra loves the four distinct seasons the mountains offer and its' wildlife, wildflowers, birds, and scenic vistas. Sandra and her husband are now full time residents of Lake Arrowhead.
Sandra graduated from California State University Los Angeles with a B.A.in Art. Sandra earned a California teaching credential and taught early childhood Pre-K and elementary school for many years while raising a family of 4 children.
Sandra returned to her artwork and painting about 7 years ago after all of her children were grown. Her love for impressionism has driven her passion for Plein Air painting which is prominent in her work. She currently is studying with Susan Sarback at the School of Light and Color and Helga Batman-Koplin.
She is a member of PAAR ( Plein Air Artist of Riverside), Mountain Arts Network, and Redlands Art Association.
