My name is Spencer Welch and I am a photographer/artist/poet. I get my inspiration from anything I see or feel at that very moment. I am 16 and a junior in high school. My dream is to allow everyone to view my work and hopefully enjoy doing so. I would love to work for National Geographic as my career, however, I don't think my future family would be happy about me always being gone! I want people to walk down the street, see one of my works, and know my name. Artistic skill is genetic in my family. My older sister in now going to school to be a animator. She wants to work for Disney. My mother was a wonderful artist. My grandmother's life was painting figurines and working in her garden to keep it beautiful. I love art, personal style, flair of beauty, and everyone's opinons. My art expresses me. The best part of your own work is when an outsider will look real hard, smile, and say "I understand it". Respect is key. But criticism can make it better.
