"My path into the world of art began nearly two decades ago when my wife bought me a camera to slow me down on our back country hikes. The way I have viewed the world has never been the same since!

I am a self taught photographer, though I have mentored along side some amazing outdoor and nature photographers including John Shaw, Moose Peterson, Brian Hudson, and others. Previously, my works have been showcased at several locations on the mountain. However, the world is filled with amazing photographers and I found myself needing to say something about my world in a different, more unique medium.
My latest passion has been relief printmaking, a process of drawing a scene on a piece of artist linoleum or wood block, carving it out in relief, inking the block, and pulling a hand made original print from the block. I make no claims towards mastery of this deeply satisfying process and only hope that others might appreciate what I am trying to say through my efforts.
My family and I have resided on the mountain for 18 years. When not actively engaged in artistic pursuit, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, mountain biking, travelling, and searching for the ultimate $10.00 bottle of wine."
