I have been an artist for over 40 years. I combined my training in graphic arts, my knowledge of ceramics and talent in drawing and painting into the unique form of art called tile painting. I have been painting tiles for over 20 years and my artwork appears in over 300 homes and commercial displays. To achieve the rich color and detail you see here, I fire each piece up to 20 times, carefully applying the different layers of color in each firing. Each firing takes several hours, as the tile needs to slowly reach its firing temperature. When complete, each piece is combined with an original display for the home.
