Classes and Workshops |
Starting August 25th Jon Olson will be having a Demonstration on how to paint from a photograph and that Saturday a three hour "Open Session" Life Drawing class. Joining our mountain community in 2007, Darlene established her watercolor studio in Lake Arrowhead where she paints and teaches watercolor techniques to adults and children. Backgrounds in professional photography and calligraphy have given Darlene a gifted eye for exquisite composition and fine detail in her artistic endeavors. She has studied with well known artists such as Donal Jolley, Joe Garcia, Pamela Benson and Deb Groesser. |
Darlene is a member of the Watercolor West, National Watercolor Society, Fallbrook Art Association, Gem of the Valley Art Association, Temecula Valley Art League and is on the Board of Directors at the Mountain Arts Network, here in Lake Arrowhead. Her paintings have been exhibited in the Lake Arrowhead Public Library, Mountain Arts Gallery, the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Lake Arrowhead Art and Wine Festival. In 2009 she received first place and the people’s choice awards for her waterwheel painting at the Temecula Valley Art League. |
Group or individual classes are designed for beginner to advanced levels. Class size is limited to four students. |
