I am a Plein Air Impressionist artist. My work is done directly from nature, in some cases I gather information on location and then return to my studio and complete the painting.
My focus this year will be on landscapes. You will see paintings from my travels throughout California.

Benjamin Johnson was born in Los Angeles, California. As a child he was given a paint-by-numbers oil painting set as a Christmas gift that was the beginning of his love for art.

Benjamin studied art in College and won a number of awards, he also studied at Otis Art Institute, under the late Charles White, which is now Parsons, and Mission Renaissance under Larry Gluck. Over the years Benjamin has exhibited and sold a number of his paintings.
