2017 Candidate Statements

Since there are five candidates and five vacancies on the Board of Directors, it has been decided that instead of conducting a costly mail-in secret ballot, if there are no objections we will instead conduct the election by a vote of acclamation during the annual MAN meeting on Wednesday, June 14, at 5 p.m. at the Annual MAN Membership Meeting. Additionally, there will be a report on the status of the organization and any amendments to the bylaws will be considered. All MAN members are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting.
The candidates will be invited to present their views and to answer questions from MAN members during the regular April and May gallery meetings in the Community Arts Center. An e-blast will be sent out a few days before the meetings to confirm which candidates will be presenting during each meeting.

To summarize:
April 26 and May 24, 5 p.m.: BOD candidates' presentations during the monthly gallery meetings in the Community Arts Center
June 14, 5 p.m.: Annual General Meeting of the MAN Board of Directors in the Community Arts Center with the vote of acclamation of the new board members. All MAN members are welcome and encouraged to attend these meeting.
Please check out the candidates on the MAN website, and try to participate in these meetings of our premier arts organization!
