I am an amateur artist who enjoys painting in an impressionistic style, turning a real subject into a colorful reality all its own. I have always enjoyed painting and drawing. I enjoy oil and acrylic paints, but also find pleasure in line drawings in pen and ink, pencil, and charcoal. I would find open-air drawing or painting, that is quick and spontaneous, to be alot of fun.

In the future, I would also like to include clay sculptures in my portfolio. To me, artwork is an exploration into a world that gives me challenges. It is a quiet communication that comes within, which allows me creation with various tools at hand.

I have not been fortunate to have a lot of time to explore and develop my love of art, due to working in demanding jobs. As I head closer to retirement, I desire to find more room in my activities to grow artfully, and reach a higher level of achievement of my creative expressions.
