Sue Stevenson Feenstra

Sue Started drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil. The first day of school, she painted a horse standing in wild flowers. The teacher displayed the painting on the wall. Years later, Sue purchased an Arabian colt that was the same color and had the same marking as the horse in her kindergarten painting.

Early in life, Sue traveled across the American Southwest and was inspired by it's landscape, wildlife and Native American people.

A graduate of Hollywood Art Center, Sue would later return to become an instructor and teach many private students.

Trained as a graphic designer, Sue's work as been published in the Los Angeles Times, Apparel News and numerous publications.

Sue is known for her versatility in fine art and commercial applications. Creating fine art using Acrylic and Mixed Media, she uses paintbrushes, palette knife, airbrush and any other medium that achieves texture and depth in her paintings.

Sue's Caribbean Collection was exhibited on St. John U.S.V.I. at Colors Gallery and the Jona White Gallery on St Thomas.

Her work is currently on exhibit at LagunaArt.com in Laguna Beach and San Clemente Ca. and the MountainArtsNetwork.org

In 2011, Sue created a tile mural that is permanently on display at the Redlands Dog Park.

Sue is a Los Angeles native and now resides in Lake Arrowhead California with her Husband Richard and four dogs.
